ABOUT US
Since forming in April 2010, Horsham PAWS has always had a strong commitment to promoting responsible pet ownership, and improving the welfare of lost, abandoned, and relinquished animals in the Horsham area, and surrounds.
We're a committee managed by volunteers who share a passion and commitment to animal welfare, supported by a membership base of individuals who share the same passions.
OUR VISION
To show leadership in pursuing high standards of animal welfare in the Horsham Municipality and working towards zero overpopulation of companion animals.
OUR MISSION
To promote and support the welfare of companion animals in our community through the formation of partnerships, fundraising, events, direct care and public education.
OUR SCOPE
Horsham PAWS works in part with Horsham Rural City Council to rehouse suitable impounded pets in the municipality.
We also in certain circumstances take in animals direct from their owners or rehousing.
An 84Y agreement is in place between Horsham Rural City Council and Horsham PAWS for the fostering of impounded pets awaiting adoption.
